In the game, there is a specific Marduk that the Protagonist scars on the left side of its skull, leaving a trademark scar that is known throughout media. It seems to be a corruption of the wolf symbol used for the God Eater series' loading cursor and the Fenrir mark as the massive wolf creature of Norse Mythology. Marduk is the sun god in Babylonian mythology. Like real-life wolves, a Marduk is usually seen travelling with a small "pack" of Garms. It is also able to release blaze energy with its front legs. It can generate a howling pulse that rallies other Aragami in the area. Its front legs are stone-armored, and it possesses red cape-like organs similar to those of a Vajra's. The Marduk is a wolf-like Aragami which resembles the Garm and is one of the new invasive species. The following information is taken from the official in-game descriptions of the Aragami found in the NORN Terminal's database. Its boosted front legs (which can generate devastating fire-powered attacks), its fast and hard to track movements, and its ability to induce rage in all nearby Aragami makes it a force to be reckoned with. Marduk is a Psion, a large wolf-like Aragami first appearing in God Eater 2.
